Welcome to my website.

I am Andreas Pargger, born in 1986 in Lienz, Austria. I studied Comparative Literature at the University of Innsbruck and Literary Writing at the University of Hildesheim. My work has been published in various magazines and anthologies in Austria, Germany, Ireland and Switzerland, and translated into Turkish.

I write in both German and English. My works include poetry and prose and deal with themes such as memory, identity and the human experience.

In recent years, my work has been supported by the Arbeitsstipendium Tirol (2022) and the Arbeitsstipendium Österreich (2022). In 2016, I came 2nd place in the Akademie Graz competition for short prose, and took part in the reading competition for the Leonce-und-Lena Preis in 2019.
